A Farmer and His Idle Sons
Once upon a time, there lived an aged farmer in a village. Though he was a very hardworking person, his sons were idle. This pained the farmer too much. One day he made a plan. He told his sons that there was a hidden treasure under their land. Sadly the farmer breathed his last after this. His sons were too greedy. They planned and dug up the soil. They dug day and night. But there was nothing. They sat down lamenting. Suddenly an idea occurred to them. They planted vegetables in that land. After a few months, they sold all those vegetables and earned a lot of money. Then they realized their father’s intention and they understood their mistake.
