A Farmer and a Snake
Once upon a time, there lived a kind farmer in a village. He was very kind and generous to everyone irrespective of caste or creed. He was equally generous even to the animals.
One day, during winter, he found a snake almost dead from the cold. It became motionless. The scene touched the kind-hearted farmer so much that he brought it home. With fatherly care, he warmed it, gave it food, and saved it. Suddenly his son arrived at that place. To his utter surprise, the snake was about to bite his son. He could not believe his eyes. He learned a great lesson and chased the snake away.
Moral: Never take pity on a scoundrel.
