Old Farmer and His Sons
Once upon a time, there lived an old farmer in a village. He was grey-haired and extremely wise. But his sons were his polar opposite. They used to quarrel with one another. Naturally, the farmer had no peace of mind. One day the farmer thought to change this situation. He brought a bundle of sticks and called his lazy and quarrelsome sons. Then he asked them to break the bundle of sticks. Though they tried hard, none of them succeeded. After this, he untied the bundle, and each of his sons broke those sticks separately. Now this was an easy task for them. At last, the wise farmer advised his sons to live like that bundle of sticks and no one would ever be able to break them. His sons realized their mistake and changed their behavior completely.
